Danielle Peach: Recruiter of the Year 2017

9 October 2017

OurWinnerContract & Interim Recruitment Specialist Danielle Peach, wins Recruiter of the Year at the 2017 RailStaff Awards.

The RailStaff Awards are the only national award scheme for UK rail employees. Being nominated, highly commended or a winner, shows that you have been recognised amongst your peers as one of the best of the best. Ford & Stanley were delighted to have three individuals shortlisted for awards, including winner Danielle Peach and finalists Rory Peverell & Ricky Wright.

Held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and organised by Rail Media, Ford & Stanley hosted a table of 12 clients and consultants. The evening celebrated another fantastic year in the rail industry with a 4-course meal, complimentary drinks, music, dancing and floorshows brought together with an 80’s theme.

The award is quite the accolade for Danielle, who joined Ford & Stanley in June 2016 – she is a prime example of what can be achieved through our Training Academy and intensive training programme.  Having joined just 18 months ago, Danielle rapidly developed her knowledge of the rail industry and built up a strong contractor base - quickly becoming a consistent top-performer, which is a phenomenal achievement. The nominations and level of votes she achieved during the process, only demonstrates how well-thought of Danielle is with her contacts in the industry.

Danielle spoke of her award “I was surprised and honoured to have received the nominations and so many votes, which resulted in my win. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote and the judges for picking me. This has topped off a brilliant year for me.

Head of Rail Recruitment, Daniel Taylor commented: “To have three consultants nominated and championed by so many different clients, candidates and contacts within the industry just reaffirms what we are striving to achieve. Danielle has registered a fantastic first year introduction to the industry – this has been underpinned by Ford & Stanley’s People Programme of realising and harnessing natural talent and potential. I am extremely proud of our winner Danielle, the two other nominees and the extended team. Special thank you must go to Hitachi, KBRS and SNC Lavalin who joined us as our guests and supported us on the night."
