Success at Dinner at the Roundhouse evening
The Ford & Stanley Rail practice were proud to join a number of high-profile rail businesses who sponsored this year’s Dinner at the Roundhouse.
The annual event, which took place on Thursday 10th October, at the the prestigiously restored 1939 Roundhouse at Derby, saw over 450 industry professionals across the UK come together to enjoy a champagne reception, four course black tie dinner and the opportunity network with likeminded individuals.
All in all a whopping £85,000 was raised for the charity, Railway Children. £34,531 was raised by East Midlands Trains alone and a cheque for the donation was presented to Railway Children during Thursday nigh’s dinner where Stagecoach Chairman and keynote speaker, Sir Brian Souter, surprised the 450 guests by matching the amount raised by East Midlands Trains.
Head of Practice – Rail, Daniel Taylor, commented “Well, what can I say, other than, what a fantastic event! For me, the evening really summed up what has been a great year for the rail team here at Ford & Stanley. To have the opportunity to sponsor the event and see our name up there with some of the biggest players in rail, gave myself and the team a great sense of achievement”
Marketing Executive, Hannah Dimond added “It has been a great year for the rail team here at Ford & Stanley and the Dinner at the Roundhouse was the perfect opportunity for us to catch up with existing clients and make some new contacts within the industry. I would especially like to thank our clients who joined us on the evening and made the event such a success.
