World Quality Week runs from 11-15th November, with World Quality Day taking place on Thursday 14th November. World Quality Day is a day when organisations across the globe come together to celebrate the value of quality.

Established in 1990 by the UN, it was created to increase worldwide awareness of the important contribution that quality makes to national and organisational growth and prosperity.

Every year the Chartered Quality Institute develops a World Quality Day theme around critical issues facing business. This year the theme is “Making Collaboration Count”, designed to highlight how colleagues, organisations and supply chains collaborate to ensure success. Here at Ford & Stanley we are one of the only recruitment consultancies within the UK that specialise specifically in quality engineering and accreditation. At Ford & Stanley we understand that confidentiality, an honest approach and true dedication is essential for working within this demanding niche market. Our recruitment consultants have extensive knowledge and understanding of the demanding environments and skill sets required to work in quality engineering and accreditation roles.

Head of Practice – Quality & Accreditation, Vicki Rose comments “‘When quality works it is often taken for granted, it is only when it fails that we truly realise the value. Here at Ford & Stanley I hear on a daily basis of the pressures quality professionals face, World Quality Day is a great opportunity to motivate colleagues and senior leaders to prioritise and drive a culture of quality."
