A quadruple appointment
Ford & Stanley have made a quadruple appointment following a strong recruitment drive in July 2017. Matty Henry and Shanker Patel have both joined Talentwise and our recruitment division has expanded by two in August, with Alex Jenkins and Aneeta Pabla joining the team.
Matty Henry joined our Talentwise division in July and is already making waves in blue collar recruitment. Having moved to the UK from South Africa in 2010, Matty previously worked within the health and fitness industry and has an excellent customer-focus track record. In his position, he will focus on trade and technical placements within the contract market. Outside of work Matty enjoying golf, football and rugby – both playing and spectating.
Matty stated “I am already loving the buzz of the recruitment industry and enjoy working with hard-working individuals. Coming from outside of the industry, the training programme here has enabled me to progress quickly whilst understanding what it takes to be successful. Having already made placements only demonstrates on how good the training is here.”
Shanker Patel also joined the Talentwise team this September, with a year’s recruitment experience assisting and resourcing for large-scale accounts predominantly within the manufacturing and rail sectors. With a Level 3 Diploma in Fabrication/Welding, Shanker will be right at home recruiting for Welders, Fabricators and Technicians within the rolling stock industry. Away from work Shanker has a passion for contemporary dance as well as football, fitness, mountain climbing and running.
Shanker commented: “I have a passion for providing an exceptional service at all times. Ford & Stanley’s in-depth processes will allow me to fine-tune my experience and utilise my desire for getting the right candidate for the right role; every time.”
Aneeta Pabla joined in August with two years recruitment experience in commercial and executive appointments. Aneeta graduated in 2010 from De Montfort University Leicester with a BA (Hons) degree in Business & Marketing, following her graduation she became a trainee recruitment consultant. As she gained more and more experience Aneeta then progressed to consultant and gained a further understanding of the full recruitment cycle. Outside of work, Aneeta enjoys spending time with her family, socialising as well as organising social events.
Aneeta spoke of her appointment: “Ford & Stanley are a progressive and growing organisation which offers an opportunity for personal growth and development. My proven multi-tasking capabilities, attention to detail and positive attitude as well as previous recruitment experience will blend well with such an organisation. I am already enjoying working with the team.”
Our second recruit to the rail recruitment team is Alex Jenkins who has transferred industries from a sales background in car sales. Alex will specialise in contract and interim appointments within the rail infrastructure industry, which has been a key growth area for Ford & Stanley since 2016. Outside of work, Alex enjoys mountain biking, often utilising the nearby Peak District which can be classed as one of the best areas in the UK for this activity.
Alex added: “I wanted to start a new career in which I could develop my natural skill of building relationships and maintaining them in a professional manner, something that I enjoyed most about my previous career. Ford & Stanley will allow me to build upon my previous experience, whilst learning an entirely new industry. ”
